Tom Paschall
CEO & Co-Founder
  • Co-Founder of $500 million private equity platform Coronal Energy, anchored by investment from Panasonic Corporation of North America.

  • Formerly a project finance and M&A attorney at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP for 15 years.

  • Holds a JD from the University of Southern California Law School and a BA in Economics, magna cum laude, from Duke University.

  • Board Member or Board Advisor to numerous companies in the energy, waste, agtech and biotech industries. 

Jay Ryu
Managing Director
  • Formerly an Investment Director at DFJ Athena, a Silicon Valley based venture capital group and member of the Draper Venture Network.

  • Drove all phases of fundraising, investment, operations, and portfolio strategy across two early stage VC funds.

  • Twenty years of business experience in diverse sectors including construction, infrastructure, media, and technology in North America, Asia, and the Middle East.

  • Holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, an MS in Environment & Resources from the Stanford School of Earth Sciences, and a BA in Architecture from UC Berkeley.

John Probandt

  • Youngest Senior Vice President in the history Dean Witter Reynolds, later acquired by Morgan Stanley.

  • Closed billions of dollars of transactions globally across several sectors over a forty-year career.

  • Author of multiple books including “Checkmate Investing”, published in both Mandarin and English.

Jamie Evans
Managing Director
  • Formerly Managing Director and Head of U.S. Energy Solutions at Panasonic.

  • Served as CFO and Executive Vice President of Coronal Energy.

  • Has over twenty years of banking, finance and capital markets experience, having worked previously at UBS, Oliver Wyman, and BlackRock. 

  • Holds a BA in Environmental Science and Economics, cum laude, from Duke University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. 

Dennis Zaidi (Dony)
Managing Director - Canada
  • Successful entrepreneur and project developer with three exits in diverse industries including land development, hospitality, and renewable energy.  

  • Holds an Executive M.Sc. Entrepreneurship / Venture Finance from HEC Paris - currently the #1 ranked business school in Europe. 

  • Certified Sustainable Investment Professional.

  • Certified Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst.

Joseph Teltser
General Counsel
  • Spent nearly a decade with Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, specializing in corporate M&A, and finance matters. 

  • Served as General Counsel of Coronal Energy, overseeing the platform's investment and financing transactions.

  • Holds a BSE in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University and a JD from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall).  

Alex Monsef
Executive VP & Legal Counsel
  • Served as legal counsel for asset management and director of acquisitions for Coronal Energy. 

  • Responsible for the oversight of over 300 megawatts of operating solar assets and lead negotiations for over 100 megawatts of acquisitions.

  • Double majored in Entrepreneurship and Business Law at the University of Miami (FL) and received a JD from Southwestern Law School.

V.P. of  Operations
  • Over thirty years in commercial and residential real estate investments and finance.

  • Seven years as media and relationship manager in a major nationwide event production company.

  • BA in Economics from the University of San Carlos, Philippines.
